Excited to be featured in this great mix of photographers for Oranbeg Press’ latest exhibit “Double Life”, to be released as a book at the NY Art Book Fair (9/16 – 9/18/16). John O’Toole prompted submission responses from artists with the thesis, “When you hit the snooze button and think just 5 more minutes. The day after day grind that a lot of us walk along. Split between the livelihood and the passion.” As always, John has an uncanny eye for curating his exhibits and publications. Double Life is now live on his Oranbeg Press website . . . The book is being printed in an edition of 100, and will be for sale at Oranbeg’s table at NYABF.
This just in from the press floor. Waiting on the embossed covers to come in to complete fabrication of “a musing from the rocking dock”.
Edition of 100, published by The Unknown Books.
Publication date: September, 2016
Very happy to have a photo etching hanging in a favorite Philadelphia gallery – Savery Gallery. Up through July 29th, photography exhibition in conjunction with the Philadelphia Photo Arts Center. Check it out, if in the area. Savery Gallery located at 319 N 11th Street.
A few tweaks and she’s off to press for the edition . . . “a musing from the rocking dock” (press proof) Forthcoming in a few weeks for The Unknown Books.
My new photobook a musing from the rocking dock is officially in the hands of the printer in Spain, soon to be proofed. I feel free, and just a wee bit anxious. Enormous gratitude to Fábio Miguel Roque and The Unknown Books for inviting me to publish the work. I’m excited to share it with folks. Updates to follow in coming weeks.
Very pleased receiving invitation to feature my first book “Trying to Find the Ocean” at the upcoming photobook exhibition, included in the citywide Fotografia Europia celebration in Reggio Emilia, Italy, May 6-8. The exhibition will be up along with all the many others through July 10, 2016. This year’s theme is Roads, Journeys, Borders.
Information on all exhibits can be found at the festival’s site FOTOGRAFIA EUROPEA
Always been a big fan of John O’toole’s “Oranbeg Press” endeavors and publications. Was happy being invited to design an interleaf for his extensive Interleaves project, and be among the mix of so many photographers I admire. The project is soon to wrap up, having featured 150 artists.
